Durability, Impact & Load Testing
Stringent quality and constant testing will ensure your wall will withstand the rigours of daily life. Our testing regime includes performing load and impact testing to conform to all major roadway authorities.
Our wall panels are comprised of composite fibre cement/EPS sandwich panels supported by a unique high tensile post system. For more comprehensive information about our residential products please contact us for an information pack.
The information pack provides information suitable for use in wind regions A, B, and C (D upon request) AS 1170.2-2002 Loading Code. If you are in wind regions C&D we will provide site-specific advice on installation and construction. If you are unsure about what wind region your wall will be in, please check with the building consent authority in your local area. It is the responsibility of the owner/installer to determine the wind region, terrain category and soil conditions.
The information listed here is only a quick guide only to help you in determining these factors and gain a general understanding of the different types of wall systems we offer. In addition, our walls are very effective acoustic barriers. For more information on the acoustic properties of our walls please see the commercial wall page
Available heights: 0.6-metres – 2.1-metres
The Classic Wall is the most cost effective of our three styles and is most commonly used in domestic boundary wall applications. This style of wall also has excellent sound reduction properties.
Classic walls have an overall panel thickness of 50mm with an 80mm top wall capping. Posts measure 180 (face) x 120mm (depth). Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2530mm or 2830mm, post centre to post centre.
Available heights: 0.6 metres to 3 metres
The Signature Wall is most commonly used where a masonry wall look is desired or in a commercial security/sound wall situation. This wall has superb sound reduction properties as tested by the National Acoustic Laboratory.
Signature walls have an overall panel thickness of 70mm with a 100mm top wall capping. Posts measure 280mm (face) x 140 mm (depth) and are designed to be a single brick in width. Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2630mm, 2930mm or 3230mm, post centre to post centre.
Available heights from 600mm – 3000mm
The Estate Wall is most commonly used where a true grand masonry wall look is desired. The post face is equivalent to a brick and a half in width. This wall has superb sound reduction qualities (National Acoustic Laboratory tested).
Estate walls have an overall panel thickness of 70mm with a 100mm top wall capping. Posts measure 320 (face) x 210 mm (depth). Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2680mm, 2980mm or 3280mm, post centre to post centre.
Our proprietary composite panels are a Fibre Cement/EPS composite sandwich panel manufactured in NZ to rigid quality guidelines. An average panel weight is 34kg (2400 x 900) or 15.49kgs m2 with two standard panel thickness of 50 or 70mm.
Panels can be stacked to achieve various wall heights. For example, a 1.8-metre high wall consists of 2 x 0.9-metre panels in a stack configuration.
